Michael Oliver slammed over Everton controversy as furious fans demand action

Referee Michael Oliver has come under intense scrutiny following Everton’s dramatic 3-3 draw with Manchester City at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with fresh controversy surrounding both his performance and alleged comments made after the final whistle.

The flashpoint arrived late in the contest with Everton leading 3-2. As the hosts attempted to defend a corner, Bernardo Silva appeared to pull Merlin Röhl to the ground inside the area, prompting furious appeals from players and supporters alike. The decision alone was enough to spark outrage around Goodison Park, but matters escalated further when reports surfaced online claiming Oliver responded angrily to Everton protests after the match.
