Former Premier League favourite delivers verdict on Leeds United’s survival chances

”How many points do you think you’ll need to stay in the league this season? Average is 34.5. So you need 35 to stay in the league on average. But again because of the nature of Wolves performances mate and Burnley maybe you maybe it’s going to be a little bit more” Sam Matterface said.

”36 or 37 I think that’s what I would say. That’s why I say two wins for Spurs would take them on 36. I think that’ll be enough.” Alex Crook replied.

Agbonlahor added: ”So you don’t look at the remaining fixtures for Forest, Leeds and West Ham where they can get three wins?

When assessing the sides involved, Leeds arguably appear the most settled of the group, displaying a degree of consistency that others have struggled to match. Spurs, by contrast, are adjusting to life under a new manager, a transition rarely without complications. Their task is further complicated by the absence of Mohammed Kudus through injury.

Forest, meanwhile, continue to juggle domestic concerns with European commitments, facing a decisive second-leg tie in the Europa Conference League. As for West Ham, they have already suffered two defeats to Leeds this season, a detail that could yet prove significant as the campaign reaches its conclusion.
